The weather in DC/MD has been gorgeous the last few days -- highs in the 70s -- which made it perfect for some DC sightseeing with med school friends in town for the first time since elementary school. Adams Morgan is, as always, a fun place to eat for lunch or dinner, and a great place to party afterwards :) The monuments are even prettier at night than they are by day, and I'm glad I got to share that with David and Amy. (Too bad it's slightly cooler today, but I'll be happy with what I got.) You know, DC really is the perfect city for me -- if only it had some good hospitals!
I've been doing lots of wedding planning (no, not for me!) this week as well, helping Jamie shop for wedding dresses, making favors for Paula's shower, and getting everything together for Paula's bachelorette party (which has involved visiting at least 4 liquor stores and a sex shop).
Unfortunately, I do need to get some work done this week as well. My agenda for the next two days is to find time to read First Aid (ha!) and take the Step 1 diagnostic test so we can work on them in our study groups next week. Not fun at all. But at least I can look forward to this exact day two years from now, when I will be nervously opening a letter to see where I've matched. So Happy Match Day to all the 4th years I know: Paula, Jamie, Dora, Michelle, Amanda, Lori, Jeremy, J Ryan, Ethan, Tristan, Jen, and anyone else I may be forgetting right now. I hope you're happy when you open your letters (and I know by the time I hear about it, you'll be making yourself happy either way ;)

Thanks Holly! I actually didn't apply this year, but will definitely use that luck next year =)
As soon as I saw that you had left a comment, I remembered! Oh well. Good luck finishing your research... not quite as exciting :)
Yuengling and Victory first-round losers? Heresy! What kind of crazy bracket is this? Where is Stella Artois, for example?
