My preceptor was on Jay Leno. And not as a guest -- as one of those newspaper pictures Leno makes fun of!
Here's the 2003 story from USA Today.
Too bad I don't have a picture of him to share with you, because he DOES kind of have a Hitler mustache, and he's totally the kind of guy who doesn't smile in photos in an attempt to look serious.
It was one of the nurses in the ER who told me the story. I was cracking up hysterically! I've always thought it would be mortifying to be made fun of on Leno's newspaper segment.

A guy we went to high school with was similarly featured on Leno. The guy's name is Joe Fling. His engagement announcement was in because his fiancee's last name was, well, LAST. So the announcement read:
