Just a tiny bit of procrastination...

I ran my picture against a face recognition program (after seeing someone else post about it), and got a 66% match with:

I think it's our droopy left eyes that matched (with different photos you can sometimes tell that they're matching certain facial features). I also matched, with somewhat less success, to Maria Sharapova, Elisha Cuthbert, and Drew Barrymore. People have always told me that I look like "Abby from ER," aka Maura Tierney:

That didn't come up on the site, but I don't know if it was an option. Anyway, sometimes people tell me I look like Maura Tierney, and other times they say I remind them of her, as in my attitude or personality. I guess both are good (I wish I had her chin line!), and she is one of my favorite characters on ER, but she's also kind of bitchy, isn't she? But then, I'm not really an angel, either.

And in a preview for third year... you know how when you learn a new word you'll suddenly see it pop up everywhere? I distinctly remember this happening with the word "surfeit" after I learned it in junior year English, and it's happened other times as well. Well, there's this phenomenon that happens to many third-year medical students wherein you learn about a disease and then think you have it. Learn about diverticulitis and your next gas pain has you worried sick. Well, mine has started: I've never understood what sinus pain entailed, or what sinus headaches were (I mean, I knew they *existed*, I had just never had one), until a few months ago when we learned about the sinuses in gross anatomy. That WEEK, I had right frontal sinus pain, and by the time it had lasted long enough for me to consider going to the doctor, it disappeared. Ever since, it's come and gone. And today, it's back. With a vengeance. And I need to STUDY so I am not happy. Here's to Tylenol and hot tea. And an attention span for biochemistry. Cheers.

At first I thought that was you. And then I thought it was Abbey (Abby?). Then I went back and forth on it for awhile before deciding it wasn't you. There's definetly an unmistakable likeness there... wow.

I never really saw the resemblance until yesterday after I had written the post, when Eric was reading it and I happened to glance over -- at first glance I thought it was me, too! Now I'm very weirded out by it.

I have a blog stalker, sweet.

I could see the Maura Tierney match for you more than Katie Holmes. I don't watch ER but I remember her from News Radio.
